At Vision House we teach students from ages 10-18 as well as offering English language classes for students 19-24 to support university courses and tests such as IELTs.
Conversation
Improve conversations in English by practising speaking, listening & pronunciation while learning new vocabulary with the English for Conversation course in Vision House. You will become more fluent and confident when speaking and also learn the nuances of British social etiquette. Pronunciation fluency and spoken accuracy are key areas. Role-plays, debates, informal discussions, presentations, and practice interviews are just some of the activities used to help students work towards real language progress in this field.
Reading & Writing
Our teachers focus on developing and reinforcing the key literacy skills needed for successful study at British institutions.
Students at Vision House will strengthen their essay-writing, reading and critical thinking skills no matter their starting point. The writing process is a central component of success in academics and students will plan, draft and redraft their work, learning the key skills necessary for study. The work done in the areas of reading and writing skills is closely inter-related.
CLIL stands for Content and Language Integrated Learning and is an approach where students learn a subject and a second language at the same time. A science course, for example, can be taught to students in English and they will not only learn about science, but they will also gain relevant vocabulary and language skills. Many teachers see CLIL as a more natural way to learn a language; when a subject is taught in that language there is a concrete reason to learn both at the same time.

IELTS & TOEFL
IELTS is an internationally-recognised qualification in academic English, with very wide recognition throughout the world. It is a standard qualification for university entrance and some professional bodies, and also gives proof of your English abilities for employment and visa purposes. Preparing for IELTS at Vision House will give you the best chance of success in the exam, help you achieve your goals, and open doors for you in the world of work and education in the English-speaking world.
School Entrance Tests

Undergraduate Student Support
Vision House offers undergraduate support designed to help you through your three or four years of study at university in the UK. We work alongside you with the material in your course helping you to digest it and ensure you have the full understanding. We combine English language study, academic skills and development, and academic coursework language support in a customised program that gives you the skills you need to succeed.
Post Graduate Mentoring
Our graduate and postgraduate support classes aim to help students on masters or research programmes with the language requirements of their academic studies including skills such as referencing, reading, using sources, and structuring an essays and proof reading.
